Stepping Out
Ravenswell upholds the Mission of Carmona Service which is to provide each person with opportunities to develop their skills which will enable him or her to experience a quality of life as close as possible to that which is available in society at large and to ensure the level of supports necessary to meet their individual needs. This is evident within Ravenswell through the Personal Outcomes Measures. The service aims to achieve this mission in partnership with service users and their families.
Choices
The Choices programme aims to respond to the needs and aspirations of service users in enhancing their quality of life. It endeavours to do this by enabling them to follow their chosen pursuits in an integrated environment in their own local communities.

Day Activation Programme
The day activation programme is tailored to meet individual needs of persons who require significant support in areas of daily living and community involvement. Adult day services provide opportunities for community participation, opportunities to make friends, and opportunities to maintain, improve and learn new skills.
Mews, Lower Deaneway and Upper Deaneway
Day activation programmes based in Dunmore House are offered through Mews, Lower Deaneway, and Upper Deaneway. As part of the programme, service users participate in a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Indoor activities include music and dance, exercise, relaxation training, art and craft work, cooking, recreation, and socialisation.
Service users also engage in a range of outdoor activities like gardening, swimming, horse riding, bowling, visiting coffee shops and shopping centres, and going on day trips
A key worker works with each service user to assist in realising the goals as specified in the Personal Outcome Measures. Day activation programmes are offered in different groups based on service users’ level of ability and care needs. At present our day activation programmes are based in Mews, Lower Deaneway and Upper Deaneway.
